StartUPV

StartUPV is the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the UPV, which encompasses a set of services and workspaces aimed at students and graduates of this University with an entrepreneurial initiative.

Since 2012, more than 300 startups have passed through the program, including: Camilion, Closca, Guruwalk, Streamloots and Zeleros.

The program consists of 4 phases:

• Preincubation/Stand Up: Each center (faculty or school) of the UPV has enabled a workspace for its students to start working on their business ideas, developing the concept on paper, the first prototype and making first validations until it becomes a reality.
• Ready/Stand Up to Start Up: In this phase we find all those projects and companies that are building and validating a business model. For a year they will have a workspace in the StartUPV coworking, and will be in direct contact with the market, leaving the comfort zone, validating hypotheses and pivoting in case they do not succeed.
• Steady/Stand Up to Scale Up: After a year of hard work, the companies move to the Steady phase with the objective to stop being temporary projects and become successful companies. Companies that enter this phase are provided with a private office, according to their needs. Once installed, the team has one year to consolidate the business and be able to scale up, accessing the last phase of the ecosystem.
• Go/Scale Up: The Go phase is the last phase of the ecosystem, where the business will reach scalability and a considerable market share. This phase is accessed by the companies that manage to overcome the corresponding milestones, and may stay for up to three years, contributing their expertise to the StartUPV community.
