EmpoWOMEN: Open call to promote female technology entrepreneurship in Europe

EmpoWomen is a two-year program (2024-2025) funded by the European Union through its Horizon Europe Research and Innovation program, which aims to address the underrepresentation of women in the deep technology sector, particularly in emerging European countries.
25 companies selected through open calls led by women will participate in a unique accelerator program, jointly designed by StartupWiseGuys and BusinessAngelsEurope, and will get services, prizes and €45,000 in non-equity funding per startup. The first EmpoWOMEN call, which marks the start of this ambitious program, will run until March 8, coinciding with International Women's Day.
This call represents a unique opportunity for women entrepreneurs from countries with a growing area, offering an exclusive space to become the female technology leaders of tomorrow.
GOAL:
EmpoWOMEN seeks to catalyze change by placing women at the forefront of deep tech in Europe, fostering diversity and innovation. Interested women entrepreneurs are invited to apply and be part of this transformative initiative that will contribute to equitable technological development on the continent.
